The trip to Ghana was uneventful. In New York there was much excitement about the approaching storm. In typical flight to Africa form it took 2.5 hours to load the plane so we left NYC 1.5 hours late. The lateness was due to disputes about carryon luggage and seat assignments. Some had boarded the plane without seats. We were still on time to Ghana because of a tailwind.
After a frequently interrupted night of sleep, I awoke to find there was no water pressure. Twenty minutes before my driver was to come the water was restored. I took a much needed shower, threw on mhy clothes, and then waited for my driver who was twenty minutes late.
It was good to worship with the people of Trinity in Tema again. I preached on Matthew 13:44-52 from the Kingdom parables of Matthew. I emphasized God's great love in seeing us as His treasure and pearl that He buys with the blood of His Son.
After a wondrous feast of Red Red and fresh, sweet pineapple, my driver returned me to the Triple Crown. I will now start preparing for class tomorrow. I have a computer and internet access this year so I will try to do daily posts.
May the love of Chirst dwell with each of you. Your servant in Christ, Pastor Fabrizius
