It was a very busy day, There were four presentations for me to analyze in class and note a grade. After four years I can see those who have made great progress and those who are struggling. They are all devout men but some are more prepared than others.
Dinner was wonderful. We ate at an outdoor place we often visit. I had jollof rice with beef sauce. This was Ghanaian food and it was great. The red red was the best last Sunday but this was good. Gordon has promised I will eat African food the rest of my stay. Of course, he is often busy and cannot guarnatee anything.
At dinner we had a fascinating conversation about marriage and engagement practices in Ghana. It is so detailed I will write a draft and give it to Gordon before publishing. You will be fascinated by the details. Africans love ritual or we might say that they love a liturgy to life. Their engagements follow a specific liturgy.
Gordon has told me to bring my camera and take many pictures tomorrow. He and I hope to post pictures and write up the event next week. My classroom duties really did not lead to many pictures so far.
Tonight I will relax a little after posting to the web and writing about the engagement and marriage ritual. There is nothing on TV. I hope to read some before getting a good nights rest.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
