Blogging Ghana Day 13

It is hard to believe but this is my last post to you from Ghana. I will be leaving this donated computer to be used at the seminary. Tomorrow night I will spend the night on board a plane load of noisy and sometimes unruly Africans. The flight will be about 10 hours and will involve a meal in the middle of the night. There is a huge cultural gap between American and African ideas of courteous and civil behavior on an airplane.

Today was really a very busy classroom day. I reduced the student break time even more and allowed an extra time for asking me questions. I added an extra unit to my teaching, per Gordon's request, on why we do not ordain women for the sake of the Gospel. That has meant some extra preparation but was well received by the students who are being challenged by a new generation of African women. We did not leave the seminary until after 4 so it took about an hour to get to the Village Inn. There we took a light meal of chicken and chips so Gordon could get to meetings and I could finish up what needs to be done before I leave for home. We returned here just before 6.

Tonight, I complete the evaluations for submission before I leave and finish packing up my bags. I will be dropped at the airport before 6 PM tomorrow and read while I wait for the 10 PM flight (5 PM in Greenfield). Please pray for my safe travel.

I look forward to seeing you at the Lord's altar on Sunday and feeding you the gifts of salvation. I hope some will join us at Bible class as we reflect upon the events of 9/11 and their impact on the message of the Gospel. On 9/18 I will host a question and answer session with pictures regarding the ongoing mission in Ghana.

Your servant in Christ,

Pastor Fabrizius
