Dear Pastor,
I arrived on campus yesterday to resume academic work and a very warm greetings from your brothers and sisters in Ghana, most especially your students at the seminary. They resumed lectures on the 3rd of January,2009.
By the grace of God, we were able to put into operation the project and the program you initiated for us with regards to the communion supplies. What we did was to invite most of our Pastors and leaders to Accra to inform them of what we are about to do and what we intend expect from them and also to inform them of the sponsors of what they are about to receive. Earlier on we have met with Rev Dr Fynn to brief him of this program and send your greetings to him.
We started with ten cartons of wine and the wafers, and after this debriefing, we shared these elements among them and to report regularly about the level of their supplies to the office for replenishment. I have pictures taken on these instance which will be forwaded to you in due course. The Pastors and the leaders were most grateful for the gesture, for we learnt that most of them were facing the same problem and some administer communion once every six month or even more than that like our northern brothers.
It was really a great and wonderful beginning and we all present agreed and vowed to do all within our power to sustain this move.
We are most grateful to you and all those lovely people behind who have contributed their resources to ensure that this is done to the glory of God.
Will get back to you soon with the pictures in question.
Have a good day.
Gordon.
