The smells of Africa are a mix of poor sanitation and constant fires that burn off the vegetation, but after a while you no longer notice it.

Dear Pastor,

We have not heard from each other since your last visit to Fort Wayne,however, I hope you are doing great as our dear Lord continues to be in absolute control.

We have just started a break, in preparation for the Spring quarter.We started last Friday and is ending in a week's time on March 9. I think there is time now to give you a financial update of what happened during the Christmas break with the communion supplies.

10 cartons wine@GH.85.00 =850.00 ($773.00)

20 wafers @ 12.00 =240.00 ($218.00)

Trasportation,(Pastors&leaders =584.00 ($531.00)

Transport(purchase of items) = 40.00 ($ 36.00)

Total =1,714.00 ($1,558.00) (rate;$1 to 11.00)

The total figure you raised was: $4,372.00

less : $1,558.00

Balance: $2,814.00

For the first time,we had to bring the Pastors and some of the leaders around to give them the background of that project and what we expect of them. There will not be any need inviting them again,so that figure in this initial budget will not feature in subsequent ones. They have been asked to bring reports on these activities backed by pictures to enable our sponsors also to be updated.

We continue to be grateful for this gesture and it our prayer that the monies allocated will be judiciously used for the people to benefit and to give glory to God. We thank the donors and will continue to update you on developments.

Have a good week.

Gordon.
