Return to Ghana (Revised Dates!!!)

Our Lord commanded us to preach the Gospel to all nations (all the ethnic groups of the world) and through your support Pastor Fabrizius was able to go to Ghana and teach at the seminary last summer. As you heard from Pastor Fehrmann in March, the church in Ghana really needs a five year commitment to him teaching their new pastors. You have shown your support for this mission of the congregation through your contributions to the Ghana communion fund and the warm welcome you gave to Pastor Kumi when he visited in November. Pastor is planning to return to Ghana and teach July 31-August 14. He cannot do that without the support of the whole congregation. This trip costs $5,000. This covers the plane flight, housing, meals, and any minor expenses. Last year the remaining money was applied to the hymnal project that Pastor Fehrmann described during his visit. This congregation has become an important part of the teaching of the Gospel in Ghana and they have asked that you continue this mission. During the next few weeks you will be given an opportunity to contribute to the fund to support this trip. The elders and the congregation have both approved Pastor's return. It was decided that this should not be a fund-raising event, but an opportunity for members to give directly to the work of the Gospel outside our own congregation.
