You’re St. Melito of Sardis!

You have a great love of history and liturgy. You’re attached to the traditions of the ancients, yet you recognize that the old world — great as it was — is passing away. You are loyal to the customs of your family, though you do not hesitate to call family members to account for their sins.

Find out which Church Father you are at The Way of the Fathers!

Our Pastor
The Rev. Dr. Karl F. Fabrizius was ordained and installed as the Associate Pastor of Our Father's on July 15, 1984. Originally from Kansas, he graduated from Kansas State University (1979) in Manhattan, Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Milling Science and Management. He worked for ConAgra, Inc. in Omaha and Minneapolis before attending Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 1984 he received the Master of Divinity degree and was called to serve at Our Father's. In 1994, he received his Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Marquette University. When the Rev. Roger A. Janke retired in 2000, the congregation called Pastor Fabrizius as the senior pastor and he was installed on October 8, 2000.

In July 2008 and again in August of 2009 he was a guest professor for the seminary of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ghana in association with The Confessional Lutheran Education Foundation (The CLEF). His classes deal with faithfully preaching the Biblical text within the context of the Lutheran Confessions, the historic liturgy, and Lutheran hymnody.

Pastor Fabrizius is married to Darcy nee Stark of Fridley, Minnesota. They have three sons. Pastor enjoys music, reading, sports, and winemaking when he is not busy with church or school events.
