WHO ARE WE?

Our Father's Lutheran Child Care was established in 1994 to support parents in our congregation and neighborhood who were seeking quality and compassionate care for their children. We have been licensed by the state of Wisconsin since 1995. Over the years we expanded and currently serve infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Our enrollment includes families of many different denominations and religions.

The Day Care is home to about 80 to 90 families with children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 14 years. We strive to be a place that encourages, guides and teaches parents and their children to be the very best they can be. We teach morals, values and right attitudes along with the A, B, C’s.   Every day we have a “Jesus time” where we learn about the God we serve at all age groups. We are proud to encourage love, fellowship and Christian behavior to the children in our daycare family so that “when they are old, they will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 25:6)

The Infant/Toddler building is the home to almost 24 infants and toddlers each day. We nurture and guide, love and teach them on an individual basis. We spend our time learning basic living techniques, such as eating, crawling, talking and walking. We also open up their world to sign language, colors, letters, numbers and most importantly Jesus.

The Preschool houses approximately 30+ children daily. Here we work on our school readiness and social skills. We spend more of our time on the academics needed to prepare the children for the real world of school. Many of our preschoolers continue on to our 4K program at the school.  We are also privileged to serve the Elmdale school district for their 4K and older school children and other local schools allowing us to serve the community as an important outreach of our faith. We are constantly striving to meet and exceed our parents’ expectations as well as being a convenience to their everyday lives.

Our before and after school program, along with our summer school-age program meets a real need to our working families here and throughout the neighborhood. We serve breakfast before school, lunch to our pre-school students and snacks after school. We also provide opportunities for them to work on their homework, do fun activities or to just spend time with their friends. During the summer months, we have weekly scheduled activities along with fun field trips to help the summer fly by.

We have selective openings throughout the daycare. Please call us for our current rates and availability.

We are always looking for loving arms to come in and help us in our mission to raise Our Father’s children. If you or someone you know is 18 or older and looking for a job, have them give us a call. We offer flexible hours and a fun, fulfilling environment.

We hope that you will come for a tour of our facility and meet our qualified, loving teachers. To schedule a tour, ask questions, or leave comments, you may use our contact form or call us at 414-282-9057. Our director, Mrs. Lori Bolger, would love to talk with you.
