It is often a difficult thing to send our children off to childcare. I remember those feelings when my two children were dropped off at the daycare as my wife and I went to work. As difficult as it was for me, it was harder on my wife. There were days that she would sit and cry, wondering if this was the right thing to do. The good news is that God worked all things for good. Our son is now a Lutheran pastor, and our daughter is now a Lutheran teacher. Our son is now dropping off his children at the church childcare center as he heads to work. Our Father's is a good place for your children, not just for childcare, but also for their elementary years.
We try to make the transition from childcare to elementary school less traumatic for your children and for you. One of the ways we do this is to include the childcare in school activities. The three and four year old programs are combined with our 4K and 5K classes for Religion classes allowing the younger children to get used to the teachers and the older children. We also make sure the childcare is invited to school events and assemblies. We are hoping to include the three and four year old programs in the school Christmas program for those families wishing to be part of that event.
Our Father's Lutheran School is nationally accredited and our test scores rank in the top 20% of the country. Like the ECDC, the school provides a loving safe environment in a high quality Christ-centered educational program. As you consider the move from childcare to elementary school, we hope you include Our Father's Elementary School in your choices. We would love to have you in our family.
