What's Happening in First and Second Grade

It seems to be time to change what's happening in our class. There are many fun filled activities planned for Lutheran Schools Week.

Sunday- Potluck after late service, an excerpt from Mystery at Shady Acres

Monday-Student Appreciation Day, pajamas and movie day (We are watching "Ratatouille")

Tuesday- Our Father's Day/Sports Attire Day, wear your favorite sports gear, enjoy a spirit donut, bring a book to read for All School Sustained Silent Reading, watch the student/parent/coach/faculty games starting at 3:45

Wednesday-Parent Appreciation Day-parents come to school between 7:40 and 8:10 and enjoy a donut, dress rehearsal of Mystery at Shady Acres, Jump Rope for Heart, 8th grade hot lunch, 1-4 choir sings for 4:30 Lenten service

Thursday-Color by grade day-we are red and black, watch the movie "Beauty and the Beast", Cousins lunch

Friday-Grandparents' Day, our theme is "Gilligan's Island", children may dress up as one of the characters (providing the clothing meets our dress code guidelines), play "Gilligan's Island" Trivia, enjoy a potato bar lunch, you have the option of allowing your child to go home with grandma and grandpa after lunch (send a note)

We are off of school March 22-26 for SPRING BREAK!!!
