Our Jesus time this week was the story of how "Jesus Blesses the Children". He wanted them to come to Him, sit by Him listen to Him just s they would eager sit with there earthly father. However the disciples tried to stop them, saying He was to busy for them. Jesus reprimanded the disciples when they tried to send them away. We are His children, He continues to bless us. We need to eagerly come unto Him. Excited to spend time with Him as our Savior and Heavenly Father, just like the little child. Remember you are never to old to come and sit on your "Fathers" lap.
We also had the story of our Saviors Ascension. Jesus' disciples could see him no longer but he instructed them to Go an Tell all about Him. He promised them that "I am with you always even to the end of the age". That same promise is for you and me today.He watches over us and cares for us.He listens to all of our prayers. This should give us a peace as we live here in the sinful world and are faced with individual daily ups and downs. Also remember we are only visitors here but Heaven is our eternal home.
