Mr. John E. Mierow, B.S., M.S. Principal. John Mierow received his B.S. from Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska followed by an M.S. in Education from Concordia University Wisconsin. Now in his thirty-third year of teaching, John is blessed with the opportunity to work with upper grade students in the areas of math and literature, and continues to stay involved in athletics as a coach and referee. John and his wife Pamela, an art teacher in Sussex, have two children, both serving as full-time workers in the church. Their son Seth is a Lutheran pastor in Indianapolis, and their daughter Rachel teaches math at a Lutheran school (also in Indianapolis).

Mrs. Sarah Anderson, B.S. Teacher. Sarah Anderson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Concordia University Chicago in 1979, majoring in Physical Education and minoring in Math. Her first teaching position was at St. Paul, West Allis. After being a stay-at-home mom for six years, Sarah returned to teaching at Gospel Lutheran School for two years before teaching for eleven years at Christ Memorial Lutheran School, both in Milwaukee. Sarah has been teaching at Our Father's since 1999. She is responsible for all upper grade science. Sarah especially enjoys teaching physical education and coaching girls' softball and volleyball. She is married to Robert Anderson, another Lutheran teacher and CUC graduate. They have two adult children, Kathryn, a nurse, and Kelly, a pharmacist.

Mrs. Susan Burgess, B.A. Teacher. Sue Burgess received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education in 1980 from Concordia University Chicago. She is in her sixteenth year of teaching, having taught at St. Peter in Schaumburg, Illinois and Immanuel Lutheran in Brookfield, Wisconsin, before taking a few years off to be with her own three children while they were young. Mrs. Burgess is in her twelfth year at Our Father's, currently teaching 5/6 home room and Reading, 4/5 Math, and 5-8 English. Mrs. Burgess is also a Student Council advisor and a Language Arts Math Program (LAMP) tutoring instructor. She is a member of Our Father's Lutheran Church and serves as the Sunday School Superintendent.

Miss Janice Wicks, B.S. Teacher. Jan Wicks attended Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota and graduated in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Prior to teaching at Our Father's she served at Immanuel, Danville, Illinois, and Holy Ghost in Milwaukee. Since 1980 she has been teaching in the lower grades at Our Father's, currently teaching third and fourth grade.

Mrs. Lynne Van Hulst, B.S. Teacher. Lynne Van Hulst received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Kindergarten through Third Grade from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Mrs. Van Hulst completed her colloquy from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2001. She has since earned her Reading Specialist license. She is in her twentieth yeaer of teaching at Our Father's, currently teaching a combined 1/2 grade class. Mrs. Van Hulst is the coordinator to the Language Arts Math Program (LAMP) which is a prescriptive supportive program to address the needs of struggling students. She is also a member of the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC). As a member of Our Father's Lutheran Church she serves on the Board of Stewardship and Board of Parish Fellowship and Communication.

Mrs. Judith Wierman, B.S. Kindergarten Teacher. Judi Wierman received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood from Concordia University Wisconsin in 1985. She has taught 3, 4, and 5 year olds. Judi has experience being a Daycare Director and Administrator. For the last fourteen years she has been teaching at Our Father's in 4 and 5 year old Kindergarten. Currently, she teaches primarily 5K, some combined 4K-5K, and First and Second Grade Physical Education. She also serves as a Student Council Advisor, Cheerleading Coach, and a member of the Parent Advisory Committee. She organizes a monthly "Mom's Nite Out" for mothers of her students. Mrs. Wierman is a member of Our Father's Lutheran Church and serves on the Board of Fellowship and Communication. She loves teaching the "little ones" entrusted to her care about the Good Shepherd.

Mrs. Eunice Plieseis, B.A. 4 Year Old Kindergarten, Art, Music. Eunice Plieseis attended Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minnesota, and received her Bachelor of Arts from Alverno College, Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a double major in Elementary Education and Art Education. She also received her colloquy from Concordia University Wisconsin. Eunice has pursued post-graduate work toward a Master of Arts in Art Education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her forty-one years of teaching experience included time teaching at Zion Lutheran School, Mission, South Dakota, and St. Paul's Lutheran School, Franklin, Wisconsin. She has now taught at Our Father's for twenty-eight years. Currently, she teaches four year olds in the morning, then teaches art, music, and 7/8 social studies in the afternoon.

Mrs. Kimberly Tietyen, B.A.: School Secretary. Kimberly Tietyen was born and raised in Peshtigo, WI. She attended Concordia University Wisconsin where she graduated with a B.A. in Communications in 1997. Kimberly spent nine years at The Lynde & Harry Bradley Foundation in downtown Milwaukee as an Administrative Assistant and Executive Secretary before joining the staff at Our Father’s in February 2006. Kimberly is married to Our Father’s and Martin Luther alumnus Jeremy Tietyen. They have three children: Jacob, Benjamin, and Caroline; Jacob and Benjamin attend Our Father’s.
