Principal
Mr. David Burgess M.A., B.A. - Principal.  Mr. Burgess received his B.A. in K - 12 Education from Concordia University Chicago.  He also received a M.A. in K - 12 School Administration from Concordia University Chicago.  He holds a Wisconsin State DPI Principal license for K - 12.  After 29 years of teaching, coaching and working in administration at the high school level, he is blessed with the opportunity to serve the families of Our Father's Lutheran School.  He will be teaching History and Physical Education.  His wife Sue teaches at Our Father's, and they have 3 children: Dan, Erin and Lauren.

7th and 8th Grade Teacher
Mrs. Sarah Anderson, B.S. Teacher. Sarah Anderson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Concordia University Chicago in 1979, majoring in Physical Education and minoring in Math. Her first teaching position was at St. Paul, West Allis. After being a stay-at-home mom for six years, Sarah returned to teaching at Gospel Lutheran School for two years before teaching for eleven years at Christ Memorial Lutheran School, both in Milwaukee. Sarah has been teaching at Our Father's since 1999. She is responsible for all upper grade science. Sarah especially enjoys teaching physical education and coaching girls' softball and volleyball. She is married to Robert Anderson, another Lutheran teacher and CUC graduate. Mr. Melvin Beversdorf  B. S. Elementary and Middle School Education, Psychology minor from Concordia University Chicago.  Mr. Beversdorf joins our staff with three years of experience, previously teaching in Chicago and Milwaukee.  He will be teaching on the 3rd and 4th grade level.  He enjoys the challenges and joys of teaching, and works with a focus on faith, forgiveness of sins, and each student's academic progress and success.  A licensed K - 8 educator and synodically trained, Mr. Beversdorf enjoys being involved with Our Father's Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Grades 1-4 Choir, and Boys Basketball.  He and his wife Jaclyn, and their four children, Mabel, Gabriel, Sebastian, and Charolette enjoy being 3rd and 4th generation members of Our Father's. Mrs. Van Hulst completed her colloquy from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2001. She has since earned her Reading Teacher license. She is in her twenty-second year of teaching at Our Father's, currently teaching first and second grades. Mrs. Van Hulst is the coordinator to the Language Arts Math Program (LAMP) which is a prescriptive supportive program to address the needs of struggling students. She is also a member of the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC). Kindergarten/Four Year Old Kindergarten
Mrs. Judith Wierman, B.S. Kindergarten Teacher. Judi Wierman received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood from Concordia University Wisconsin in 1985. She has taught 3, 4, and 5 year olds. Judi has experience being a Daycare Director and Administrator. For the last sixteen years she has been teaching at Our Father's in 4 and 5 year old Kindergarten. Currently, she teaches 4K and 5K. She also serves as a Student Council Advisor, Cheerleading Coach, and a member of the Parent Advisory Committee. She organizes a monthly "Mom's Nite Out" for mothers of her students. Mrs. Wierman is a member of Our Father's Lutheran Church and serves on the Board of Fellowship and Communication. Music Teacher/Band Director
Mrs. Shannon Wiegert, B.M.E. Music Teacher and Band Director. Mrs. Wiegert grew up in Freeland, MI and graduated from Valley Lutheran High School in Saginaw. She attended Concordia University River Forest and earned her Bachelor of Music degree with a double emphasis in instrumental and general music. Her first call was to Lutheran high South in St. Louis where she administered their elementary band program and taught in six area grade schools. She joined our faculty in the Fall of 2011 and has 10 years of teaching experience. Mrs. Wiegert is a member of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association. She has obtained three levels of certification in the Orff music and movement education method and is very involved with the Milwaukee Orff teacher chapter. School Secretary
Mrs. Kimberly Tietyen, B.A.: School Secretary. Kimberly Tietyen was born and raised in Peshtigo, WI. She attended Concordia University Wisconsin where she graduated with a B.A. in Communications in 1997. Kimberly spent nine years at The Lynde & Harry Bradley Foundation in downtown Milwaukee as an Administrative Assistant and Executive Secretary before joining the staff at Our Father’s in February 2006. Kimberly is married to Our Father’s and Martin Luther alumnus Jeremy Tietyen.
