Principal – Mr. Jerry Jiter
Mr. Jerry Jiter M.S., B.S. – Principal. Mr. Jiter received his B.S. in Education from Illinois State University. He also received a M.S. in Educational Administration from University of Wisconsin – Superior. He holds a Wisconsin State DPI Teacher and Principal license for K – 12.
He has served as principal and/or taught in Antigo, Waterford, Chippewa Falls, and Clintonville, WI, as well as New Orleans, LA. Most recently he served as principal and teacher at St. Martin Lutheran School in Clintonville, WI.

7th and 8th Grade Teacher – Mr. Nathan Wingfield
Mr. Nathan Wingfield, B.S. Teacher. Nathan Wingfield graduated from Concordia University Nebraska in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He married Hannah Uden in January, 2015.
Mr. Wingfield began teaching at Our Father’s in August, 2015. He currently teaches 5-8 grade Science, 5-6 grade Mathematics, and Algebra. He also serves as Athletic Director and is the coach for 7-8 girls’ basketball.

5th and 6th Grade Teacher – Mrs. Susan Burgess
Mrs. Susan Burgess, B.A. Teacher. Sue Burgess received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education in 1980 from Concordia University Chicago. She is in her twenty-third year of teaching, having taught at St. Peter in Schaumburg, Illinois and Immanuel Lutheran in Brookfield, Wisconsin, before taking a few years off to be with her own three children while they were young. Mrs. Burgess is in her nineteenth year at Our Father’s, currently teaching 5/6 home room, 7th grade Math, and 5-8 English and Literature. Mrs. Burgess is also a Student Council advisor and a Language Arts Math Program (LAMP) tutoring instructor. 3rd and 4th Grade Teacher – Mr. Melvin Beversdorf
Mr. Melvin Beversdorf B. S. Elementary and Middle School Education, Psychology minor from Concordia University Chicago. Mr. Beversdorf joined our staff with three years of experience, previously teaching in Chicago and Milwaukee. He has been teaching 3rd and 4th grade for five years here at Our Father’s. He enjoys the challenges and joys of teaching, and works with a focus on faith, forgiveness of sins, and each student’s academic progress and success. A licensed K – 8 educator and synodically trained, Mr. Beversdorf enjoys being involved with Our Father’s Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Grades 1-4 Choir, and Boys’ Basketball. 2nd Grade Teacher – Mrs. Lynne Van Hulst
Mrs. Lynne Van Hulst, B.S. Teacher. Lynne Van Hulst received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Kindergarten through Third Grade from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Mrs. Van Hulst completed her colloquy from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2001. She has since earned her Reading Teacher license. She began teaching at Our Father’s in 1988 and currently teaches second grade. Mrs. Van Hulst is the coordinator to the Language Arts Math Program (LAMP) which is a prescriptive supportive program to address the needs of struggling students. She is also a member of the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC). As a member of Our Father’s Lutheran Church she serves on the Board of Parish Fellowship and Communication. 1st Grade and Kindergarten Teacher – Mrs. Cheryl Cahill
Mrs. Cheryl Cahill, M.Ed., B.A. – Teacher. Cheryl Cahill received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education in 1981 from Concordia University Chicago and her Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2003 from Concordia University Texas. She is in her 30th year of teaching, having taught in Houston, Texas, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and San Antonio, Texas. She is currently teaching 5K/1st grade here at Our Father’s Lutheran School. She has been married to Bob Cahill for 35 years, who is in his 35th year of teaching. Four Year Old Kindergarten Teacher – Mrs. Abigail Liermann
Mrs. Abigail Liermann B.A. Elementary and Middle School Education, Mathematics and Religion minors from Concordia University Chicago, M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, Mathematics and Inclusive Classroom minors from Concordia University Portland. Mrs. Liermann taught three years at Immanuel Lutheran in Palatine, Illinois and currently teaches four-year-old kindergarten at Our Father’s. She also serves as the resource teacher to work regularly with individual and/or small groups of students to better enable ALL of our students to excel in reading and math. She is married to Brian Liermann, a Lutheran Pastor in Racine. In her free time, she plays with her chocolate lab, Brownie, paints, plays piano and reads. Music Teacher – Mrs. Julie Reuss
Mrs. Julie Reuss began her formal music training at age ten with piano lessons. As a young adult she studied at Hart School of Music in Hartford, CT. She has continued her music training in the fields of voice, Elementary Music Education, and choir techniques. Mrs. Reuss holds Teacher Certification in Levels I and II from the American Orff-Schulwerk Association, is a member of the Music Teachers National Association, and holds Teacher Certification in Levels I, II and III from the Feierabend Association for Music Educators.

Band Director – Mr. Ken Wiele
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts from Lawrence University in 2011, Ken served as a band and orchestra director in Appleton and Kenosha before accepting a position as Associate Lecturer of Jazz Trombone at the Peck School of the Arts at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He has performed regularly on extended contract with Princess Cruises and currently works with various entertainment companies and bands in the Midwest. He currently teaches at MYSO as a faculty member of Jazz Studies, and through the Milwaukee Lutheran High School Association. His father is one of Wisconsin’s premier music educators and a semifinalist for the Grammy Educator Award.

School Secretary – Mrs. Nancy Wang
Mrs. Nancy Wang, B.A. Economics, School Secretary. Nancy is a lifelong member of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS). She spent many years as a market research professional, with responsibilities that included leading cross-functional teams, performing vehicle and economic market research and delivering annual sales plans and forecast updates. Her experience includes such things as data management, process improvement, team leadership, customer satisfaction, and marketing communications. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Lakeland College and an Associate Degree in Business Management from MATC. Because of her strong belief in Lutheran education, Nancy is very excited for the opportunity to work in Christ’s Church, serve others, support and promote Lutheran schools, and to be a blessing to Our Father’s.
